This kit is based on a combination long throw horn by DDS. It incorporates a 2" exit BMS 4592(with passive 6.3khz crossover) on a 40x20 horn fused to a low/low mid horn that is nominally 40 x 40. Lighter, better sounding neodymium magnet speakers are standard and ceramic kits are available at lower prices. The comparable ceramic components are BMS 4590, CIARE 12.64 W. This will be a great system to accompany LAB subs.

Medium Throw Kit
This kit is similar to the one above. It uses a horn with 60 x 40 dispersion. This is more of a stand alone unit, while the long throw horn should be used in multiples. It will incorporate a 12" cone and 2" exit driver.
Brown Bag Kit

This speaker system is the most popular of our live sound systems. We have also used this combination in two installs. It incorporates two 15" speakers and one 2" horn. We use the DDS 2CFD 60X Pro most often, with the BMS 4592 crossed over at 300hz. This gives us single point source above 300hz and no crossover point from 300Hz to 6.3Khz. Suspension stands are available separately. Listed below are the most effective combinations with many more available.

The short throw system is a DDS 90 degree horn with the same BMS 4592 and a 6.3khz crossover. This is coupled with a CIARE 15.00ND W1 which will be front loaded. The DDS is 21" wide. The ceramic version has BMS 4590 and CIARE 15.00 W2. This system could be used stand alone biamped or with a subwoofer.

This system features three parts of outstanding quality. The driver is an excellent sounding unit and coupled with the DDS is crossed over at 1khz. BMS drivers and DDS horns are a great match. It is not recommended to use great drivers on mediocre horns, and DDS does not disappoint. The CIARE neodymium 12" add incredible vocal clarity. This combination will work great in boxes of about one cubic foot. Ceramic version has BMS 4550 and CIARE 12.00 W1.

This is a great combination of an 80W driver and a 300W low frequency on a BMS horn that can be crossed down to 800hz. With the 4544 this system can be crossed to 1.6khz.
